4th - 6th November - 3 day film festival in Cheltenham

For all those with a passion for the cinema, The Cheltenham Film Festival will be an opportunity to not only attend special screenings but also hear professionals in this industry speak and discuss their work. With Gloucester born actor, comedian, writer, film producer and director Simon Pegg as the festivals official patron, Britains most loved film reviewer opening the event and The Dodge Brothers who will be performing their critically acclaimed accompaniment to the 1928 silent film The Beggars of Life on the last evening, there is something for everyone in this three day festival. Not only will Barry Norman be sharing some of his favourite clips as well as talking about his favourite actors/actresses of the silver screen, most of which he has interviewed in his 26 years in the popular BBC show, but the renowned British actor, playwright, author and director Steven Berkoff, will be talking about his career in front of and behind the camera and there will also be an opportunity to join a select panel of notable film industry professionals to take part in a discussion about the role of British Female screenwriters, within the film industry and of course not forgetting plenty of screenings either with its supporting introduction or post screening panel discussion with a range of special guests.
