Between 18th November and 7th January, The Royal Shakespeare Company are bringing to Stratford a new production of the Robin Hood legend. In this version of the great English legend, Robin Hood and his band steal from the rich and those who dare to travel through the forest of Sherwood, but unlike to tale we all know, they do not share their winnings with the poor!! It is all down to Marion to protect the poor from the unfair demands of the evil Prince John and convince Robin that he must listen to his heart if they are to safe the country. Besides the theatre theres also a lot to do in Stratford-upon-Avon. You can enjoy exploring Shakespeares home town as well as the houses where Shakespeare grew up, the romantic family home of Anne Hathaways Cottage where Shakespeare courted her and maybe even visit his final home where theres the opportunity to see the live archaeological dig which is going on each house with its own fascinating story.
