Charlbury Street Fair

The Charlbury Street Fair has taken place every year since the early 1950s and will this year be held between Friday 14th and Sunday 16th September 2012. The grand opening this year will be in the hands of BBC's 'Silent Witness' actor Tom Ward. There is something for everyone - from open gardens to Morris Dancing, Vintage and Classic Cars display to live music, a street fair with plenty of stalls and an Auction as well as a Grand Draw both with plenty of prizes. For the younger members of the family or even the young at heart theres an egg throwing competition, fairground amusement as well as rides to name but a few things and for the more energetic there is a 10k & a 5k Fun Run and Walk through Glorious Cornbury Park. Lots of fun and all for a good cause - as it is to raise money for the upkeep of two important community buildings in Charlbury -the Corner House and the War Memorial Hall. It is a great fun day out with something for all ages!
