Countryfile Live

Countryfile comes to Blenheim Palace Famed for its imposing faade as well as its place in the nations history, Blenheim palace also sits in a jaw dropping country park: small wonder then that its been chosen as the ideal backdrop for the first ever Countryfile Live event. The Cotswolds is no stranger to country fairs but this promises to be a fair with a difference and theres much talk about a festival vibe though we suspect that the obligatory festival wellies are likely to be of the Hunter or Barbour variety! This new event to be hosted by the well loved line up of John craven, Adam Henson, Anita Rani, Ellie Harrison, Matt Baker & Tom Heap will cover every aspect of great British country life through impressive live arena shows, animal displays and farming in action, talks and q&a sessions and being a nation of shopkeepers (not to mention avid shoppers) therell be abundant retail opportunities with more than 600 food and craft producers. Its a seriously impressive programme with something for every member of the family from wildlife zone to tractor Ted, an equine village and gamekeepers corner, street food and off-roading to the ever popular dog arena and when youre in need of a well earned break, theres the great British ice cream parlour or the Craven Arms pub garden to retire to. As ever, the BBC have thought of everything!
