Fly to the Past with a celebration of the history of aviation.

A family and fun day of flight themed entertainment in the air and on the ground this Sunday 21st August at Oxford Airport. Kicking off the day, a film on the giant screens which unfolds the history of flight and aviation. Then a four-hour long air display with a Natural Flight Section including Formation Parachuting, Birds of Prey Display. The War Birds Display with likes of Fokker, Junkers and Mustang. The Vintage Piston Moment with Dragon Rapide and B125 Bulldog , Vintage Jet with De Havillands and Avro Vulcan and of course not forgetting the Aerobatic Display by Silence Twisters and Jungmeister Biplane to name but a few a must for all the air aficionado!. Theres also plenty to do and see on the ground: Jeep rides, Military vehicles, vintage bus and truck parades, retro biker show as well as plenty of exhibits to see such as Vintage art gallery, Rock n Roll Library and 60s photos show vintage rules! Plus on the main stage therell be a bathing beauty contest, swing dance workshop, 40s fashion show, parades and catwalks and much much more with the John Miller Orchestra taking you into the evening.
