It's all go at Stratford upon Avon

With the William Shakespeares Birthday Celebrations as well as the 5th Literary Festival its all go at Stratford upon Avon between 21st and 28th April 2012. The William Shakespeare Birthday Celebrations are a unique event that has taken place for nearly 200 years bringing together the local community, performers, artists and ambassadors from around the world. Enjoy of the two day programme with great days out at the Shakespeare houses, literary and music events and amazing theatre. This year theres definitely an international theme at the Literary Festival. There's a great mix of fiction and nonfiction, panel discussions as well as a range of workshops. The headline speakers include PD James as well as the best-selling author Sue Townsend celebrating 30 years of Adrian Mole to name but a few - Making this is a must for any keen writer. The Festival will also hosting a recording of BBC Radio 4's I'm Sorry I Haven't a Clue. For the younger members of the family there is a chance to enter a Poetry Competition as well as Family Fun Day with activities and entertainment for 4 to 11 year olds.
