The Best of British Show

A brand new event at the Cotswold Airport: The Best of British; two fun-packed days for the whole family during the August bank holiday. The three-hour air show will be enjoyed by all even the keenest aviation fan. With the Silver Stars Parachute Team dropping in to open the show, therell be displays from the ever favourites, RAF Red Arrows, The RAF Tucano, the BBMF Hurricane - one of the classic fighters of all time as well as the Spitfire and the Hawk. But that is not all, amazing aerobatics, close formation flypasts, breathtaking and nostalgic displays will be performed by Tiger Moths and The Breitling Wingwalking team. Theres also plenty to keep everyone entertained on the ground for the animal lover theres lurcher and ferret racing, the Lamb National, an RSPCA-sponsored dog show and an interactive wildlife zoo with spiders, snakes, meercats and chickens and for the car lover theres a collection of classic and vintage vehicles on exhibition featuring popular British makes such as Rolls Royce and British military vehicles. If that wasnt enough theres pleasure flights available in either a helicopter or a vintage DeHavilland Rapide as well as a sound stage with live music, a traditional fun fair, trade stands and locally-sourced food and drink to keep you going for the whole day. Besides being a fun day out The Best of British Show will be supporting four charities over the weekend; The RAF Benevolent Fund, Fly2Help, Help for Heroes and the RSPCA.
