Were always on the look out for anything new in the Cotswolds and when it involves food, its always cause for excitement & celebration. Hare at Milton-under-Wychwood. Located as it is in the Burford, Stow, Chipping Norton triangle it has some illustrious company but on first inspection, The Hare is definitely worthy of a return visit. Having previously transformed The Bell Inn in Stow, the owners have done a fabulous job of combining boutique style interiors with a good, honest local. Already a thriving community, Milton under Wychwood can only be enhanced by the arrival of a pub thats open 7 days a week offering cask ales, wines by the bottle & the glass and freshly brewed coffee and we love the idea of kicking the week-end off every Friday at 5 with Champagne Happy Hour! In our book thats hard to beat but the week-ends are rounded off in style too with a super chilled acoustic set showcasing local talent on Sunday evenings. Its not just music for the soul on offer here either:all tastes and appetites are catered for with a full a la carte menu lunch time and evening including lots of fresh seafood as well as light bites and nibbles. Sandwiches are serious and thick-cut, not namby-pamby affairs, perfect for refuelling on your Cotswold ramble and if you have company on your walk, youll be pleased to hear that your four legged friends are welcome in the bar.
