The Open at Cheltenham Racecourse: 11 - 13 November 2011

The biggest and most important meeting of the first half of the Jumps season is back! Kicking off on Friday with six races on CountrySide Day and its unique country fair atmosphere offering a range of displays and demonstrations. The Saturday brings The Paddy Power Gold Cup which has been running for the past 50 years and five other highly competitive contest and ending on Open Sunday and a six race card including The Greatwood Hurdle which is an opportunity to see the up and coming stars of the hurdling world take centre stage. A three day thrilling competition between many of the best Jump horses in Europe. With 80 trade stands as well as plenty of bars and restaurants it is sure to attract a large and enthusiastic crowd making this not only a great weekend out for families but a must for all racing enthusiastics.
