Winter Wonderland in Cirencester

Between 30th November and 16th December 2012, the heart of Cirencester will be transformed into a winter wonderland by a Christmas Market and the towns first Ice Skating Rink. The switch-on this year will be in the hands of Channel 4's popular Fabulous Baker Boys who will be putting their baking to one side for this occasion and which will mark the opening of the market. The Christmas market with its adorned wooden chalets will run daily and is the perfect place for buying those special and unique Christmas presents with the help of festive food and drink to keep you in the shopping spirit. If you want to take a break from the shopping, then this year there will be an ice rink set in the Abbey Grounds will be openened by Cirencester Colleges performing arts team on 1st December and from them on will also be open daily. Besides a visit from Santa and his reindeer who have theyre work cut out before Christmas there will also be live music and street performances to name but a few of the things going on.
